“My Group” IM chat

My Group is an option for you to invite the group members of your choice for online therapeutic group sessions. Some people are more anxious if they do not know the other group members on a personal basis. This is the option for people who prefer to have group sessions with their friends in order to provide an increased sense of safety and security.

My Groups have a minimum of three participants, but can have as many as you choose to involve. Obviously, the higher the number of participants, the less individual time will be addressed. However, just as in 3D groups, many participants may prefer to learn from others instead of actively saying things on their own.

This is a good option for forum members who are already familiar with each other, and may be open to doing group counseling on important issues.
